Stroopwafels
A traditional dessert that captures melting syrup between two thin, crispy waffles.
In Holland these are first warmed by placing them on top of a cup containing coffee or tea. This melts the syrup inside, further bringing out the sweetness. Warming them in an over toaster will make the waffle even more crisp.
